Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Windshield And Rear Window Washer Pump V59, Removing And Installing

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Remove front bumper cover.

NOTE:  To avoid interchanging the washer fluid line connections on the Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump V59, the connections on the
pump and hose lines are color-coded. Hose connector pieces must be connected to the corresponding colored pump connections during
installation.

-

To release, twist securing clips at hose connections - 3 - and - 5 - and disconnect them from Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump V59 - 4
-.

-

Collect the draining fluid in a suitable container.

-

Remove the Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump V59 - 4 - upward out of the reservoir.

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.
