Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Torque wrench 5-50 Nm (VAG 1331)

Tighten the bolt in 4 passes as follows:

Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm.

Turn the sprocket.
‹› The sprocket must not have any play; if so, loosen and tighten again.
-
Tighten the bolt to 30 Nm.
-
Tighten the bolt an additional 90° (1/ 4 turn).
