Vibration Damper

‹› With the ribbed belt pulley.

‹› Removing and installing, refer to --> [ Vibration Damper ] See: Cylinder Block Assembly/Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley/Service and

Repair.

O-ring

‹› Always replace.

Bolt, 150 Nm + 90° (1/4) turn

‹› Always replace.

‹› Use the counter hold tool (T10355) to loosen and tighten.

Ribbed Belt

‹› Check for wear.

‹› Do not kink.

CAUTION!
Risk of destroying due to reversed running direction on a used ribbed belt:

‹› Before removing the ribbed belt, marking the running direction with chalk or a felt tip pen for reinstallation later.
