Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Guide sleeve (T20097)

‹› Silicone sealant (D 174 003 A2)

‹› Flat scraper

‹› Hand drill with plastic brush attachment

‹› Protective eyewear

Requirements

‹› Transmission is removed.

‹› Dual mass flywheel is removed. Refer to --> [ Dual Mass Flywheel ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Flywheel/Service and Repair/Dual Mass

Removing

-

Unhook the intermediate plate from the sealing flange and remove it from the alignment sleeves - arrows -.

-

Remove the bolts - 1 through 8 - and remove the sealing flange.
