Test Conditions

Function and voltage supply for Fuel Pump (FP) G6 OK,  See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Testing and
Inspection/Function and Voltage Supply, Checking

Fuel pressure OK, checking.  See: Fuel Pressure, Checking

Test Sequence

-

Remove seat bench.

-

Remove cover - 1 - with Fuel Pump (FP) control module J538 - 2 - from fuel delivery unit.

NOTE:  When installing the cover - 1 - be sure to pay attention to the installation position: The arrow - 3 - points in the direction of travel.

Disconnect connector - arrow - from flange on fuel delivery unit.
