GLI L4-2.0L Turbo (CCTA) (2008)
-
Connect digital manometer VAS 6394/1 pressure line to adapter VAS 6394/2.
-
Start engine and run at idle speed.
-
Compare the displayed digital manometer VAS 6394/1 pressure with current value of the vehicle diagnostic tester:
-
Pressures may differ from each other up to 5 bar.
CAUTION:
The digital manometer VAS 6394/1 is under high fuel pressure.
-
With the engine running, disconnect the connector from the fuel pressure regulator valve N276. The fuel pressure will drop to
approximately 6 bar.
-
Switch off ignition.
-
Place a rag around the fuel pressure regulator valve G247, then carefully loosen the fuel pressure regulator valve G247 to release the
remaining pressure.
If pressures do not match:
-
Fuel pressure sensor G247 replacing.
If measured value do not match again:
-
Perform a wiring test.
If measured values match:
-
Further testing is found in "Guided Fault Finding".
