Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A.

In Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

Using the Sprung button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

NOTE:  Before removing the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533, the codes stored in the module must always be read out.

CAUTION:

Switch off all electrical consumers.

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Remove the drivers side footwell cover.
