Electronic Throttle Control Module: Removal and Replacement

Throttle Valve Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

-

Torque wrench V.A.G 1783

Removing

NOTE:  Intake manifold assembly overview.

-

Observe rules for cleanliness.

-

Remove charge air guide leading to noise amplifier.

-

Loosen hose clamp - 2 -.

-

Remove bolt - 4 -.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - arrow -.

-

Remove noise insulation.

-

Disconnect charge air hose by lifting clamps - 1 - and loosening hose clamp - 2 -.

-

Remove bolt - 1 - and remove air guide pipe downward.
