Connect vehicle diagnosis tester - 1 - as follows:

Connect diagnostic cable - 2 - to Data Link Connector (DLC) in driver footwell.

Switch ignition on.

-

On the following screens, select:

Vehicle Self-Diagnosis

01 - Engine Electronics

011 - Measured Values

-

Enter 140 and confirm with Q.

The current value is displayed in field 3, which the fuel pressure sensor G247 reports to the vehicle.

-

Switch digital manometer VAS 6394/1 on by quickly pressing button - A - one time.

NOTE:  Holding button - A - for 2 seconds switches on the illumination for 20 seconds.

The digital manometer VAS 6394/1 should display 0 bar; if this is not the case, then press button - C - one time quickly to set it back to zero.

Connect digital manometer VAS 6394/1 pressure line to adapter VAS 6394/2.

-

Start engine and run at idle speed.

-

Compare the displayed digital manometer VAS 6394/1 pressure with current value of the vehicle diagnostic tester:
-

Pressures may differ from each other up to 5 bar.
