Variable Induction Control Module: Removal and Replacement

Throttle Valve Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench 5-60 Nm (VAG 1783)

Removing

Remove the charge air pipe to noise generator. Refer to --> [ Charge Air Pipe to Noise Generator ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery
and Air Induction/Turbocharger/Intercooler/Intercooler Duct/Service and Repair.

Loosen the charge air pipe hose clamp - 2 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 4 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - arrow -.

-

Remove the noise insulation..

-

Disconnect the charge air hose by lifting the clamp - 1 - and loosening the clamp - 2 -.
