Stabilizer Bar

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench 5-50 Nm (VAG 1331)

Removing

‹› The following work steps are described for the left side of the vehicle. These work steps also apply simultaneously for right side of vehicle.

Remove the nut - 1 - and remove the coupling rod -  2 - from the stabilizer bar.

‹› Do not loosen the bolt - arrow - for the tie rod -  3 -.

Remove the stabilizer bar bracket bolts - arrows -. 

-

Remove the stabilizer bar.

Installing

-

Install the stabilizer bar in the vehicle.

-

Install and tighten the stabilizer bar bracket bolts - arrows  - evenly.
