| In vehicles with activated charcoal filter system, Ecotronic control unit -J184- is equipped with a fault memory. Before starting repairs, adjustments and fault finding, the fault memory must be read → Chapter and, if necessary, final control diagnosis carried out → Chapter. |

| Adjuster screws are secured with caps, bungs or locking paint so that adjustment is not possible without destroying the locking mechanism. Renew locking mechanism after repairing or adjusting. |

| Grease all carburettor joints with MoS2 grease. |
