  WARNING
Observe the safety precautions when working on the airbag → Chapter.
–  Disconnect vehicle battery → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27.
   
–  Position steering wheel -1- in central position (wheels straight ahead).
–  Remove hexagon socket-head bolts -5- (6.5 Nm). Take airbag unit -3- off the steering wheel and unplug red connector -2- from the airbag unit.
