Installing > < Removing and installing front passenger airbag unit

  WARNING
Observe the safety precautions when working on the airbag → Chapter.
–  Disconnect vehicle battery → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27.
–  Unscrew front passenger side storage compartment → Chapter.
   
–  Remove hexagon bolts -1-. Pull the airbag unit -2- out of the lower section of the dash panel and remove it from the supporting frame -3- (pay attention to the upper tab inserts -4-).
–  Separate airbag unit connector -5-.
–  Push the guide clip -6- out of the supporting frame -3- (unlocks locking lugs).
