Removing and installing upper C-pillar trim (Golf)
1 - Clip
q   With foam padding
q   Pushed in C-pillar trim mounting
2 - Trim panel
q   Removing:
–  Remove sill panel strip → Chapter.
–  Remove upper B-pillar trim → Chapter.
–  Remove support for luggage compartment cover → Chapter.
–  Remove cross-head screw → Item.
–  Unscrew hexagon nuts → Item.
–  Pull trim off along the edge of roof and pull it out of the clips → Item at right angles.
–  Remove lower C-pillar trim → Chapter or remove side trim → Chapter.
–  Unscrew the rear anchorage for the seat belt.
q   Installing:
–  Check the seating of the clips → Item in the C-pillar and correct if necessary.
–  Check seating and condition of clips → Item and correct if necessary.
–  Check function of belt height adjustment.

4 - Foam padding
5 - Hexagon nut
6 - Adjustment lever
7 - Cover
8 - Cover
q   Only for vehicles without rear seat belts
9 - Cross-head screw
