Installing > < Removing and installing hydraulic hose

  WARNING
The hydraulic system is sensitive to any kind of contamination.
As soon as the system is opened, the relevant components must be covered to prevent contaminants entering the hydraulic system.
–  Remove left side trim in the luggage compartment.
–  Undo the tommy screw on the hydraulic pump so that any residual pressure in the system can dissipate, and then tighten it again.
   
–  Free the hydraulic hoses and unclip them from the closing panel -arrows- (only the hoses for the right-hand hydraulic cylinder).
–  Unscrew the hose connectors from the hydraulic pump (Torx screw, 7 Nm) and the hydraulic cylinder (union nut, 15 Nm).
