Installing > < Removing and installing hydraulic pump

  WARNING
The hydraulic system is sensitive to any kind of contamination.
As soon as the system is opened, the relevant components must be covered to prevent contaminants entering the hydraulic system.
Disconnect battery earth strap before working on electrical system.
  Note
Obtain radio unit code before disconnecting battery.
–  Disconnect earth strap from battery.
–  Remove CD player (if fitted).
–  Remove left side trim in the luggage compartment.
–  Disconnect connector -A-.
   
–  Undo the tommy screw -1- so that any residual pressure in the system can dissipate, and then tighten it again.
–  Mark hydraulic lines -B- before removing. Remove Torx screws -2- (7 Nm).
–  Carefully pull the lines out of the hole.
–  Unscrew hexagon nuts -3- (the second nut is covered by the pump) off the rubber bearings (5 Nm).
