Removing
Removing
–  Remove the hydraulic pump without disconnecting the hydraulic lines → Chapter.

  Note
t  The hydraulic system is sensitive to any kind of contamination.
t  As soon as the system is opened, the components must be covered.
t  Before dismantling the hydraulic unit, place a container under the pump to catch oil which runs out.
–  Move the hydraulic unit and its reservoir vertically downwards into an appropriate container. Secure it so that it cannot tip over.
–  Open the tommy screw so that the hydraulic oil can flow out of the pump unit into the reservoir.
–  Unscrew Torx screws -2- and pull motor -1- off the hydraulic pump.

–  Pull impeller -1- off the drive shaft -2-.
–  Remove the metal tab -3- out of the pump housing (if the metal tab stays in the pump housing, the pump can be damaged).
  Note
The metal tab -3- is no longer needed.
