Control unit functions

Note:

The Motronic control unit is equipped with various functions. Some functions can be carried out with ignition switched on or with engine running. The following table details the prerequisites for carrying out the individual functions.

     1)     Must be carried out after performing the following work:
          Replacing control unit, throttle valve control part or engine.

     2)     Only possible when the coolant temperature is above 80 °C. Prior to this, this function is blocked.

     3)     Must be carried out when checking the idling speed.
