Remove any remaining locking fluid from splines on outer drive shaft joint and splines of wheel hub. (Splines must be oil and grease free).
–
Coat the splines with locking fluid -D 185 400 A2- as shown in diagram. Bead diameter approx. 3 mm.

Insert drive shaft.

Bolt swivel joint to wishbone.
–
Tighten bolts securing drive shaft to flange shaft/gearbox.
–
Install new 12-point nut on drive shaft and tighten.

To tighten 12-point nut we recommend the torque wrench -V.A.G 1756-.

Only loosen and tighten with the vehicle standing on its wheels (danger of accident)
