Immobilizer
Adapting fuel cut-off valve control unit to immobilizer control unit
The fuel cut-off valve control unit as supplied always switches the fuel cut-off valve on, even without influence from the immobilizer control unit. To ensure correct functioning of the immobilizer, the fuel shut-off valve control unit must be matched to the immobilizer control unit with fault reader V.A.G 1551, V.A.G 1552 or Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051. |
The self-diagnosis connection is located in centre of dash panel above ashtray.

Should another coding be displayed, the coding must be changed as follows:
