The door hinge bolts must always be replaced if loosened.

q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Door handle with backing plate
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
3 - Housing
q   Removing → Chapter
4 - Bolt
q   20 Nm
5 - Cap
6 - Locking button
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
7 - Locking rod
8 - Relay lever
9 - Locking rod
10 - Bolt
q   20 Nm
11 - Lock plate
12 - Door lock
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
13 - Bowden cable
14 - Interior release handle
15 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   M8×28
q   Remove only this bolt from hinge to remove door
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Always renew after loosening
16 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   M8×28
q   Remove only this bolt from hinge to remove door
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Always renew after loosening
17 - Door hinge with door arrester
q   Hinge is split
18 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   M8×28
q   Installed from inside vehicle
q   Removing B-pillar lower trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Always renew bolts after loosening
19 - Multi-point socket head bolt

q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Always renew bolts after loosening
21 - Cap
22 - Bolt
q   13 Nm
23 - Door hinge
q   Hinge is split
24 - Multi-point socket head bolt

q   Installed from inside vehicle
q   Removing B-pillar lower trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Always renew bolts after loosening
25 - Multi-point socket head bolt
q   M8×28
q   20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Always renew bolts after loosening
