| The applied voltage changes the colour of the electrolyte. The greater the voltage, the darker the electrolyte. Therefore, the incident light is reflected to a lesser degree. |
| Selecting reverse gear switches off the anti-dazzle function. Consequently, one can, for example, reverse out of a dark garage with the aid of the interior mirror. |
