Removing and installing parts of ABS system on front axle
Removing and installing parts of ABS system on front axle
Removing and installing ABS system parts is identical for FS III and FN 3 brake calipers.
   
1 - ABS speed sensor
q   Before inserting sensor, clean inner surface of fitting hole and coat with lubricating paste G 000 650
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Wheel bearing housing
3 - Allen bolt, 8 Nm
4 - Cover plate
5 - Hexagon bolt, 10 Nm
6 - Wheel bearing
q   Renew each time after removing
q   Pressing out and in → Running gear, axles, steering - front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.40
7 - Cross-head screw
8 - Brake disc
9 - Wheel hub with rotor
q   Pressing out and in → Running gear, axles, steering - front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.40
10 - Circlip
