Installing > < Removing and installing steering angle sender G85

Removing
–  Turn wheels to straight-ahead position.
–  Remove airbag module and steering wheel → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.69.
–  Remove lower stowage compartment.
–  Remove footwell cover.
   
–  Remove bolts -1-.
–  Remove handle for height and reach adjustment -5-.
–  Unscrew bolts -2-, -3- and -4-.
–  Remove lower steering column switch trim.

–  Remove upper steering column switch trim -1-.

The steering angle sender -G85- is installed together with coil connector in housing -1-.

–  Pull off connectors -1- and -2-.
  N45-0176
–  Carefully lift locking lugs -arrows- and pull off steering angle sender -G85-.
