Additional notes and repair work on vehicles with air conditioning

WARNING

Do not open the air conditioning refrigerant circuit.

Note

To prevent damage to condenser or to refrigerant pipes and hoses, ensure that pipes and hoses are not stretched, kinked or bent.

To remove and install engine without opening refrigerant circuit:

–	Unbolt retaining clip(s) from refrigerant pipes.

–	Remove air conditioner compressor: → Rep. Gr.87

–	Secure air conditioner compressor to towing lug in order to relieve tension on refrigerant pipes and hoses.

Note

Mask bumper with adhesive tape to prevent damage.
