Charging devices that do not require a permit |
Charging devices that do not require a permit are mobile charging devices into which pressurised gases are charged into gas pressure vessels for exclusive use of one company. |
Some air conditioner service devices are charging devices that do not require a permit. When these devices are used, the refrigerant is charged not into locally mobile pressurised gas containers, but into a permanently installed charging cylinder with a visible contents gauge and float switch. |
When surplus refrigerant is transferred for one's own requirements, it is recommended that a portable charging cylinder with visible level gauge and pressure relief valve be used. |
When filling pressurised gases into other pressurised gas containers, comply with technical regulations for pressurised gas (TRG 402 in Germany; consult local regulations). |
