Removing Before beginning dismantling work, perform the following steps: –  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key. –  Remove any CDs which may be in unit → Operating manual. Carry out procedure as follows:

–  Slide the radio release tools -T10057- into the slots in the radio unit -arrows- until they engage. Top L - top and bottom on left Top R - top and bottom on right

–  Pull radio unit out of installation slot in -direction of arrow- using grip rings of release tools. –  Pull radio unit out of slot far enough to be able to reach connectors on back of radio unit.

–  Press connector lock together -in direction of arrow-.

–  Then swing locking bar up in -direction of arrow- and pull off connector.

–  Release connector -arrow- on aerial connection and pull it off.

–  Press lugs on radio unit in -direction of arrow- and pull release tools out from radio unit.
