WARNING | It is not permissible to test or charge batteries whose colour indicator is light yellow. Do not slave/jump start the vehicle! |

| These batteries must be renewed. |

| Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers. |

| Check the colour indicator in batteries with an inspection window → Chapter. |
| –
| Connect red terminal „+“ of tester to positive terminal. |

| Connect black terminal „-“ of tester to negative terminal. |
Note | Ensure test clamps have a good contact! |

| Select one of the following functions. |

| Warranty test for batteries during the warranty period → Chapter . |

| Maintenance test (only in new vehicles before registration, in stationary and stock maintenance programme → Chapter) |

| Service test for batteries no longer covered under warranty and third-party batteries → Chapter |

| The test is completed after about 10 seconds. |

| The result of the test is printed out by the printer. |

| The tester requires no cooling phase before it is ready for the next measurement. |
