| Removing |
| – | Remove lining mat -1- from storage compartment. |
| – | Remove the two bolts -2- (1.5 Nm). |
| – | Remove storage compartment -3- from vent -4-. |
| Vehicles with Climatronic |
| The items -5-, -6-, -7-, -8- and -9- are exclusively for vehicles with Climatronic. |
| Remove dash panel centre vents (vehicles with Climatronic) → Chapter. |
Note| On vehicles without Climatronic, the two bolts -1- have already been removed at this point. |
| – | Insert two wedges -3409- into lower joint of vent -arrows- and press vent upwards out of mounting in dash panel. |
| – | Operate the respective locking devices and separate the wiring harnesses for hazard warning lights switch and front passenger airbag warning lamp. |
