  Note
t  The control consists of 2 separable housings. Before removing controls, set rotary knobs to the following positions:
t  Heater control to „cold“
t  Blower to „0“
t  Vent direction to „footwell“
–  Remove radio → Electrical system; Rep. gr.91.
   
–  In vehicles without radio trim, remove centre section of dash panel → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
–  Remove bolts -2- (4.2 x 45) and -3- (4.2 x 16) and remove the controls -1- from centre console.
  N80-10088
Specified torque for bolts -2- and -3-: 1.5 ± 0.2 Nm.
–  Release connector catch -A- by pulling it in direction of arrow -1-.
–  Push connector catch -B- towards connector -arrow 2- and remove connector -C-.
–  Release connector catch -D- and remove connector -D-.
