Renewing oil filter
  Note
t  Normally, there is no need to renew oil filter.
t  Oil filter change „Yes or no?“:
Removing
–  Move selector lever to position »P« position.
–  Removing air filter → Rep. gr.24.
–  Remove battery with battery tray → Rep. gr.27.
  Note
t  A residual amount of oil remains in oil filter. It runs out when oil filter is unscrewed.
t  Before unscrewing oil filter, cover area around oil filter with a sufficient number of cloths.
   
–  First loosen filter housing -arrow- by about 7 turns.
–  Wait about 10 seconds.
This way, the oil will flow from the filter housing back into the gearbox.
–  Only now remove filter housing and oil filter.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. During this step, observe the following:
–  Thoroughly clean oily areas on gearbox.
  N34-10163
–  Insert oil filter with collar -arrow- downwards.
–  Screw in filter housing and tighten to 20 Nm.
Continue installation in reverse order of removal.
–  Check oil level and top up → Chapter.
