1 - Selector cover with knob
q   Do not remove knob without reason. For emergency release, only the cover needs to be unclipped → Chapter.
q   Right knob in figure: first pull button far enough out of knob until a small gap is visible between knob and button. Button locks in this position when released. Secure button in this position with a cable tie or wire against being pressed in.
q   Left grip in figure: do not press button in. However, if this should happen, the knob must be dismantled and prepared for installation → Chapter.
2 - Selector lever and selector mechanism
q   With selector lever lock solenoid -N110-
q   Emergency release → Chapter.
q   Brief instructions for removing and installing:
–  Remove centre console.
–  Remove cable from gearbox and separate selector mechanism → Chapter.
–  If necessary, disconnect or remove parts of → exhaust system; Rep. gr.26.
–  Remove heat shield beneath vehicle.
–  Adjust selector lever cable after installing → Chapter.
3 - Bolt with spring
q   3 Nm
4 - Pin
q   Removing → Chapter
q   Do not grease
5 - Securing clip
q   Always renew after removing
6 - Nut
q   9 Nm
q   Qty. 4
7 - Selector lever housing
q   With seal
8 - Selector lever cable
q   Cable must not be greased
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Checking → Chapter
q   Adjusting → Chapter
9 - Securing clip
q   Always renew after removing
10 - Securing clip
q   Always renew after removing
11 - Hexagon nut with washer
q   8 Nm
q   Qty. 4
