  Note
After dismantling, always renew needle bearing in clutch housing and reverse shaft support.
1 - Clutch housing
2 - Needle bearing
q   Pulling out → Fig.
q   Pressing in → Fig.
3 - Reverse gear wheel
4 - Retaining ring
q   Always renew after removing
q   Carefully fit new retaining ring
q   Do not overstretch
5 - Synchromeshed gear for reverse gear
q   Remove retaining ring before renewing
q   Shoulder faces reverse gear wheel
6 - Reverse shaft
q   Removing → Chapter
7 - Needle bearing
q   Pressing out → Fig.
q   Pressing in → Fig.
8 - Reverse shaft support
q   Removing and installing → Chapter

   
Pulling needle bearing out of clutch housing
A - Counter support, e.g. -Kukko 22/1-
B - Internal puller, 14.5...18.5 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/2-
  Note
The needle bearing is destroyed during removal and must be renewed.
