Removing all-wheel drive control unit -J492-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench 2...10 Nm -V.A.G 1783-
  W00-0990
t  Drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208-
–  Switch off ignition.
  W00-10228
–  Separate connectors -1- and -2- of control unit on top.
–  Place drip tray under final drive.
  N39-10090
–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
Ensure that no parts fall when removing control unit.
–  Carefully remove control unit -A-.

–  Carefully grasp coupling opening control valve -N373--A- on metal housing -arrow- using pliers and pull out.
–  Pull out pressure sensor -B-.
  A39-10051
–  Remove oil seal -arrow- from housing.
