  Note
t  All hose connections are secured.
t  Charge air system must be free of leaks.
t  Renew self-locking nuts.
t  Before fitting hose to oil supply line connection, fill turbocharger with engine oil.
t  After installing turbocharger, run engine for about 1 minute at idling speed to insure that oil is supplied to turbocharger.

Observe safety precautions → Chapter.

4 - Oil supply hose
q   To oil supply line connection on turbocharger
q   Before installing oil supply line, ensure that it is not blocked.
q   Before installing, fill turbocharger via oil supply hose with engine oil
5 - Turbocharger
q   Can only be renewed with exhaust manifold.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
6 - Vacuum hose
7 - Gasket
q   Renew
q   Note installation position
8 - To particulate filter
9 - Clamp, 7 Nm
q   For turbocharger/particulate filter
10 - Exhaust manifold
q   Can only be renewed together with turbocharger
11 - 25 Nm
q   Renew
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Gasket
q   Renew
14 - Connecting pipe
q   For exhaust gas recirculation.
q   Assembly overview - exhaust gas recirculation cooler → Chapter
15 - 25 Nm
q   Renew
16 - 15 Nm
17 - O-ring
q   Renew
18 - Banjo bolt, 60 Nm.
19 - Support
q   For turbocharger
q   With oil return line
20 - Exhaust gas temperature sender bank 1 -G235-, 45 Nm
q   Lubricate thread of sender using hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-
q   Remove and install with T10395/5 from Tool set -T10395-.
21 - Heat shield
22 - Connection
q   For intake hose for air filter/turbocharger
q   Assembly overview - air filter → Chapter.
23 - 9 Nm
24 - 10 Nm
