Removing and installing engine speed sender -G28-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hexagon key extension, 4 mm -T10370-
–  Remove insulation tray. → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
–  Clamp off coolant hoses at oil cooler using hose clamp and pull off hoses.
–  Remove oil filter bracket.
  Note
If the securing bolt is a 5 mm Allen bolt (old version) use a commercially available 5 mm key with ball end. If necessary reduce key to a suitable length.

–  Loosen securing bolt -arrow- using 4 mm socket -T10370- and pull out speed sender.
Installation is performed in the reverse order. Observe the following: specified torque for engine speed sender securing bolt is 5 Nm.
