  Note
t  For the sake of clarity, the work is performed with the engine removed.
t  The procedure is identical whether the engine is installed or removed.
Procedure
–  Remove flywheel or drive plate as applicable.
–  Set engine to TDC No. 1 cylinder → Chapter
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove engine speed sender -G28--arrow-.
–  Unscrew sealing flange securing bolts.
  Note
Sealing flange and sender wheel are pressed off the crankshaft together using three M6×35 mm bolts.
  N13-10083
–  Screw three M6×35 mm bolts into threaded holes -arrows- of sealing flange.
–  Screw bolts (max. 180° per bolt) into sealing flange alternately and press sealing flange together with sender wheel off crankshaft.
