Removing and installing radiator fanV7 and radiator fan 2V177
Removing and installing radiator fan -V7- and radiator fan 2 -V177-
  Note
The work sequence for vehicles only equipped with the radiator fan -V7- is the same.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench (5…50 Nm) -V.A.G 1331-
Removing
–  Remove engine splash protection.
  W00-0427
–  Separate connector -1- and remove cowling securing bolts -arrows-.
–  Remove cowling with fans upwards.
  A19-0473
–  Separate connection -2- and free wiring.
–  Unclip connector -1- from cowling and free wiring.
–  Unscrew nuts -arrows- and remove fan.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
Specified torques:
  N19-10054
