General notes on ignition system

t	The engine control unit has a self-diagnosis capability.

t	For trouble-free operation of electrical components, a voltage of at least 11.5 V is necessary.

t	Read fault memory, rectify any faults and then erase fault memory → Vehicle diagnostic tester„Guided fault finding“.

t	The readiness code must be generated if the fault memory has been erased.
