Removing:

Remove engine cover/air filter
→ Chapter
.
Golf:
–
Remove pipe
-A-
and hose
-B-
-arrows-
.
All vehicles:
–
Remove noise insulation
→ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50
.

Pull connector
-3-
off charge air pressure sender -G31-.
–
Unscrew bolts
-2-
and
-4-
.
–
Loosen clamp
-1-
, disconnect quick-release coupling on charge air cooler and remove charge air pipe and hose downwards.
–
Drain coolant
→ Chapter
.
–
Disconnect electrical connectors
-arrows-
.
–
Pull coolant hoses off coolant pipes
-arrows-
.
–
Pull off hose
-A-
and unscrew bolt
-B-
. Remove front coolant pipe.
–
Remove connector
-A-
from retainer, pull off hose
-B-
and unscrew bolts
-C-
. Remove rear coolant pipe.
Installing:
Install in reverse order.
