Aligning exhaust system stress free
Aligning exhaust system stress free
l  The exhaust system must be aligned when cold.
–  Loosen bolted connections of front clamp.
   
–  Push exhaust system forward until preload on rear silencer retainer is -dimension a- 5...11 mm.

Installation position of front clamp
–  Install clamp so that end of bolt does not extend beyond lower edge of clamp.
l  Bolted connection faces right.

Installation position of rear clamp
–  Install clamp so that end of bolt does not extend beyond lower edge of clamp.
l  Bolted connection faces rear.
–  Tighten bolted connections of clamp evenly to 25 Nm.
