Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  For left-hand drive vehicles: Release tool -T10238-
or
  W00-10110
t  For right-hand drive vehicles: Release tool -T10240-
Removing
  W00-10108
–  Remove steering column cover -arrows-.
–  Lever out cap → Item using a screwdriver.
–  Remove securing bolt → Item.

–  Push release tool -T10238- (for right-hand drive vehicles release tool -T10240-) into intended holes as shown to stop and remove accelerator module.
–  Pull off connector on accelerator module. To do this, push down securing element of connector.

Installing
–  Reconnect connector -2- to accelerator module.
   The connector must audibly engage.
–  Press accelerator module onto securing pins -6-.
–  Insert centring pin -7- into hole in floor of vehicle.
–  Secure accelerator module with bolt -3-, specified torque 10 Nm and fit cap -4-.
–  Install steering column trim.
