Removing and installing front passenger side illuminated vanity mirrorW14 and driver side illuminated vanity mirrorW20 > < Removing and installing rear interior light and reading light (vehicles with anti-theft alarm)
Renewing rear interior and reading light bulbs (vehicles with anti-theft alarm)
Renewing rear interior and reading light bulbs (vehicles with anti-theft alarm)
  Note
t  The anti-theft alarm must be deactivated → Chapter before replacing a rear interior light and reading light bulb.
   
t  The anti-theft alarm ultrasonic sensor -G209-, comprising 4 individual sensors -2-, cables and a control element on the back of the interior and reading light, must not be moved from its predefined position.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers.

–  Pull entire trim panel -1- (with lens and reflectors) vertically downwards out of interior light and reading light.

–  Pull glass-base bulb to be removed (12 V, 5 W) -1- from bulb holder.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.
