Adjusting striker pin
Adjusting striker pin
  Note
t  The front door must lock fully when closing without any additional force being required and must not have any play.
t  The door must not be pushed up or down due to striker pin adjustment.
The following can be adjusted at the striker pin:
l  When the front door does not align with the rear door.
   
–  Loosen striker pin -2- by loosening bolts -1- on A-pillar.
–  Adjust the front door with the striker pin -2- so that the front door is flush with the rear door when shut (to prevent wind noise).
–  Tighten bolts -1- of striker pin -2-.
Specified torque: bolts -1- 20 Nm.
