Installing > < Removing and installing front seat belt buckle (2-door)

Removing
–  Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
–  Secure seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136-.
–  Move seat to foremost position.
   
–  Disconnect wiring harness -1- from seat frame, if part of original equipment.
–  Unscrew bolt -2- (20 Nm).
  Note
t  The bolt is microencapsulated and must be renewed each time it is loosened.
t  Before a new bolt is installed, the thread of the corresponding nut must be cleaned.
–  Turn belt buckle 90° clockwise -arrow A-.
–  Swing belt buckle outwards -arrow B-.
–  Pull belt buckle out of mounting in seat rail -arrow C-.
