Installing > < Removing and installing front bucket seat pan

Removing
Removing
–  Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
–  Remove front seat → Chapter
–  Secure seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136-.
–  Remove front left bucket seat trim → Chapter.
–  Remove front belt buckle:
t  2-door model → Chapter
t  4-door model → Chapter
–  Remove front bucket seat backrest → Chapter.
–  Remove cover and padding of front bucket seat cushion → Chapter.
   
–  In front area, remove the two bolts -1- (24 Nm).
–  In rear left area of seat frame, remove bolt -2- (24 Nm).
–  In rear right area of seat frame, remove bolt -3- (24 Nm).
  Note
t  The bolts -1- to -3- are microencapsulated and must be renewed each time they are loosened.
t  Before new bolts are installed, the threads of the corresponding holes must be cleaned.
