Planning fault finding

Try to plan the fault search sensibly.
–  Be aware »what sort of problem« is on hand and which means of fault finding are available. Finding a fault without a thought-out search would be -magic- and does not lead to success.

t  It must also be clear that it is not necessary to look for faults which have already been found and are known to others. Therefore, first check → Technical Solutions to see if a solution to the problem is listed.
t  It is also possible to contact your → TSC or the importer in your country. Make use of this possibility! This will save time, work and expenses.
t  It can also be helpful to know the events entered in other control units. Always read out all control units. When looking for a fault, keep the issue of data buses in mind. For example, in this case → Anchor.
t  When calling your importer or the → TSC, have a diagnosis log on hand.
