Removing and installing radiator
   
Removing and installing radiator
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Refractometer -T10007-
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331/-
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6340-

Removing
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Pull coolant hoses off radiator.
–  Pull off connector for radiator fan.
–  Remove radiator cowl with fans → Chapter.
–  Remove radiator securing bolts → Item and remove radiator upwards.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
–  Replenish coolant → Chapter.
