Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Counterhold tool -3067-
  W00-0026
Removing
l  Gearbox removed.
  Caution
Risk of damage to dual-mass flywheel.
t  Screw out bolts -B- not with an air wrench or power impact wrench but by hand.
t  When unscrewing the bolts, make sure that the bolt heads do not touch the dual-mass flywheel.
t  Rotate dual-mass flywheel -A- so that bolts -B- align centrally with the holes -arrows-.
  A30-0102
–  Insert counter-hold tool -3067- in the hole in cylinder block -item B- and loosen bolts for dual-mass flywheel.
–  Unscrew bolts and remove dual-mass flywheel.
Installing
l  Specified torque → Chapter „Assembly overview - cylinder block, gearbox end“.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew dual-mass flywheel bolts.
–  Insert counter-hold tool -3067- in hole in cylinder block -item A-.
